Two propositions are arguably true: (1) The Arts & Entertainment mountain is preeminent in its power to influence belief by affecting emotions; and (2) Those with a secularist, non-Christian worldview dominate the Arts & Entertainment mountain of culture.
Consider the impact this mountain has had in altering American beliefs about homosexuality. How, in film and TV, fathers are typically portrayed as clueless, or out of touch, or foolish buffoons. How casual sex is commonplace and inherently good. You could no doubt think of other examples.
In recent years, more Christians have recognized the need for leadership in this mountain of culture. Navigating this mountain can be treacherous, requiring a balanced mix of courage, wisdom, discernment, grace, and truth. But we desperately need leaders here.
